Arcata has gone 10-0 against Eureka recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Eureka beat Ukiah 57-51 on Saturday. Given the Loggers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Wildcats are ranked 838th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Arcata has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.6 points per game. As for Eureka, their win bumped their record up to 14-4.
