Basketball Game Preview: Whitney Wildcats vs. Roosevelt Rough Riders

The Whitney Wildcats will square off against the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Whitney's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Whitney saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against Livermore by a score of 60-50.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt took a blow against Oakland Tech on Saturday, falling 73-44. The Rough Riders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Whitney will have to contain Cobi Posas as he made an impact in Roosevelt's last game. He dropped a double-double with 30 points and 14 rebounds. Posas' big performance that afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points.

Whitney's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Roosevelt, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
