Baseball Game Preview: Laurel Spartans vs. Burgettstown Blue Devils

The Laurel Spartans will head out to square off against the Burgettstown Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Laurel has given up an average of 6.7 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Laurel is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since April 30, 2025 on Thursday. They came up short against Mohawk Area, falling 13-3. The loss continues a trend for the Spartans in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost six in a row.
