Basketball Game Preview: Greenwood Rangers vs. Gatesville Hornets

The Greenwood Rangers and the Gatesville Hornets will round out the year against one another at at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday. Gatesville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Greenwood, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Greenwood turned things around against Snyder on Tuesday. They secured a 45-40 W over the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Gatesville unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 54-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Waco.

Gatesville's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Greenwood, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

Greenwood strolled past Gatesville when the teams last played back in December of 2018 by a score of 63-49. Will Greenwood repeat their success, or does Gatesville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
