Basketball Recap: Willard Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

On ThursdayLebanon kept up with Willard until halftime, but afterwards: not so much. The Willard Tigers put the hurt on the Lebanon Yellowjackets with a sharp 59-37 victory. The game marked the Tigers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Despite the loss, Lebanon still got an impressive performance from Morgan Durbin, who went 7 for 17 en route to 20 points and seven rebounds. Madison Myers was another key player, putting up seven points.

Willard's victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Lebanon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Willard will welcome Nixa at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lebanon has already played their next contest (against Osage), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
