Softball Recap: Maine Central Institute's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Maine Central Institute made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Hall-Dale, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Huskies fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The loss put an end to the Huskies' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Maine Central Institute fell to 2-1. As for Hall-Dale, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Maine Central Institute will host Monmouth Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Hall-Dale, they will head out on the road to challenge Spruce Mountain at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
