Soccer Recap: Ashe County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Freedom on Tuesday, Ashe County came back down to earth. The Huskies took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Watauga Pioneers on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Watauga this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in April.

Ashe County's goal came courtesy of Keslyn Durham, who's now up to 12 this season.

Ashe County's loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Watauga, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Ashe County nor Watauga have any future games scheduled.
