            Volleyball Recap: Shady Spring Tigers vs. Morgantown Mohigans        
        
		
        
        
            Shady Spring unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell  2-0 to the Morgantown Mohigans on Thursday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Mohigans recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
 Shady Spring was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22,  25-21.
 Alivia Stover paced Shady Spring's offense, picking up six kills. Stover got some help from  Reagan Mann and her eight assists.  Alessandra (Allie) Fragile controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
 Coincidentally, Shady Spring and Morgantown will both be playing Independence the next time they take the court. The Mohigans will head out to face the Patriots at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:00  p.m.
