Baseball Recap: St. Michael Comes Up Short

St. Michael suffered their closest loss since March 7, 2024 on Monday. They fell just short of the John Curtis Christian Patriots by a score of 4-2. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 9-0 to them when the teams met back in March of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Michael has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. The victory was the third in a row for John Curtis Christian, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.

Coming up, St. Michael will welcome East Ascension at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Ascension will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something St. Michael surely won't give up without a fight. As for John Curtis Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Patterson at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.
