Basketball Recap: Waterloo East Comes Up Short

Waterloo East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 66-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mason City Mohawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-65 back in January.

Waterloo East's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Mason City, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Waterloo East will host Hoover at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Mason City, they will welcome Lincoln at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
