Soccer Recap: Romeo Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Dakota on Wednesday, Romeo came back down to earth. The Bulldogs fell just short of the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Romeo came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 24th, while L'Anse Creuse North are ranked 143rd).

Romeo's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-3-1. As for L'Anse Creuse North, they now have a winning record of 5-4-4.

Romeo has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Utica Eisenhower on the 7th. As for L'Anse Creuse North, they will be playing at home against Dakota at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
