Baseball Recap: Redwood Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

Redwood won against Mt. Whitney on Thursday with 11 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Rangers put the hurt on the Porterville Panthers with a sharp 11-4 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 16-1 win back in March.

Redwood's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-7. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Porterville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Redwood will challenge Monache at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
