Noe Mendoza was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

JW North couldn't beat Tahquitz on Saturday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Huskies came up short against the Titans, falling 14-7. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
