Soccer Recap: Tyner Academy Takes a Loss

Tyner Academy was the 3-1 winner over Brainerd when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tyner Academy Rams fell 2-0 to the Brainerd Panthers on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Rams have lost by exactly two goals.

Tyner Academy's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Brainerd, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.

Coming up, Tyner Academy will square off against St. Andrews-Sewanee at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brainerd will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sweetwater at 6:30 p.m. on March 25th.
