Football Preview: Northville Mustangs vs. Howell Highlanders

Northville is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Canton 54-0 on the road on Friday. Given the Mustangs' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Cobras are ranked 204th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cooper Derkach had an outrageously good game as he threw for 261 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 84 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Howell put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Plymouth 48-17 at home. The Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by 21 points or more this season.
The victory got Northville back to even at 2-2. As for Howell, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
