Clovis East is 8-0-2 against Buchanan since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Clovis East Timberwolves will host the Buchanan Bears at 4:00 p.m. Clovis East's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Tuesday, Clovis East didn't have quite enough to beat Central and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Timberwolves have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Noah Naranjo, who's now up to nine this season.

Meanwhile, neither Buchanan nor Clovis North could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Buchanan's draw makes their record 13-1-4 this season. As for Clovis East, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1.

Clovis East was able to grind out a solid victory over Buchanan in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 3-1. Does Clovis East have another victory up their sleeve, or will Buchanan turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
