Baseball Game Preview: Carrollton Trojans vs. Lafayette County Huskers

Carrollton hasn't had much luck against Lafayette County recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Trojans will host the Huskers at 3:00 p.m. Carrollton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Carrollton's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Sweet Springs as they made off with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Lafayette County beat Richmond 7-2 on Wednesday. The Huskers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Lafayette County now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Carrollton, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
