The Russell Red Devils will square off against the East Carter Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Russell is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

Russell came out on top against Blazer on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fifth inning. The Red Devils took their match against the Tomcats 5-2.

Elijah Hankins was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.

Russell was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are 12-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, East Carter fell victim to Scott and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 6-0. The Raiders' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Russell pushed their record up to 17-11 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for East Carter, their loss dropped their record down to 17-13.

Everything went Russell's way against East Carter when the teams last played back in March, as Russell made off with a 14-3 win. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
