Basketball Recap: Gainesville Comes Up Short

Gainesville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 61-26 loss at the hands of the Temple Wildcats. The matchup marked the Leopards' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Gainesville now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Temple, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Gainesville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-43 victory against New Diana on the 27th. Temple has also already played their next matchup, a 71-70 loss against San Angelo Central on the 27th.
