Basketball Recap: Denby Comes Up Short

Denby lost against Western International back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Denby Tars might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Western International Cowboys an easy 46-21 win. The Tars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Denby's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Western International, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Denby and East English Village Prep will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Western International will take on Crockett Tech in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Western International is facing Crockett Tech at the right time seeing as Crockett Tech is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
