Basketball Recap: Providence Academy Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Providence Academy had won three straight road games and Josiah Parham did his part to make it four on Friday. The Providence Academy Lions took down the Fairhill Falcons 56-37 thanks in part to Parham, who almost dropped a triple-double on 23 points, nine rebounds, and 11 steals. The matchup was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

Atticus Mauldin also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assists of the season. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (three).

Providence Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-12 record this season. As for Fairhill, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Providence Academy Lions duke it out with the Westwood Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairhill, they will face off against Winston School of Dallas at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
