Gowanda came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Randolph Cardinals a 12-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on Wednesday.

Gowanda's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 22.0 runs over those games. As for Randolph, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Coincidentally, Gowanda and Randolph will both be playing Falconer the next time they take the field. The Cardinals will host the Golden Falcons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
