Softball Recap: Fort Knox Eagles vs. Beth Haven Bearcats
Fort Knox scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Beth Haven Bearcats with a sharp 20-5 win. The high-scoring effort was just what Fort Knox needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.
Fort Knox got a massive performance out of Amaya Paul, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Nala Stevens, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Fort Knox's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-20. As for Beth Haven, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Fort Knox will head out on the road to face off against Seneca at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Beth Haven, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Shawnee at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
