Shelby County strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Oak Grove Tigers. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Shelby County was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15.

Peyton Cannady paced Shelby County's offense, picking up four kills. Cannady got some help from Wendy McGehee and her seven assists. Madison Tolleson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Shelby County's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Oak Grove, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Shelby County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Victory Christian on the 6th. As for Oak Grove, they will venture away from home to take on Indian Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
