The Southwest Christian School Eagles will face off against the Paschal Panthers at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Southwest Christian School is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season.

Southwest Christian School's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against MacArthur as Southwest Christian School made off with an 11-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Evan Smith made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one triple.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Rachel Swenson, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Karis Jones was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Meanwhile, Paschal fell victim to Brewer and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Bears, falling 10-0.

Paschal's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Southwest Christian School, their win bumped their record up to 8-2-1.
