Baseball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for Trinity

Trinity lost to Southeast Alamance back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Bulldogs skirted past the Stallions 8-6. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Trinity pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Southeast Alamance, their loss ended an eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 11-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Trinity will host Providence Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeast Alamance, they will square off against Bartlett Yancey at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buccaneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.33 runs per game on average), something the Stallions will no doubt try to take advantage of.
