Softball Game Preview: South East Jaguars vs. South Gate Rams

South East hasn't had much luck against South Gate recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. South East is taking a road trip to take on South Gate at 4:00 p.m. South East has given up an average of 8.4 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

South East saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 12-1 to Flintridge Sacred Heart. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South East saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Iliana Dominguez, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, South Gate fell victim to South Pasadena and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 9-0. The Rams just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

South Gate's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for South East, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

South East suffered a grim 25-4 defeat to South Gate when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can South East avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
