Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Takes a Loss

St. Joseph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ridgefield Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cadets of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

While St. Joseph had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-22, 22-25, 25-19.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Ridgefield, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Joseph will face off against rival Darien at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Ridgefield is set to challenge their familiar foe Norwalk at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
