The Buckingham Browne & Nichols Knights will square off against the Avon Old Farms Beavers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Buckingham Browne & Nichols is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 42-2 victory over Trinity-Pawling School. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 35th in Massachusetts, while the Pride are ranked 151st in New York) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Avon Old Farms against Kent School on Saturday as the team secured a 43-6 win. The Beavers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Buckingham Browne & Nichols took a serious blow against Avon Old Farms in their previous matchup back in November of 2021, falling 56-13. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Knights were down 35-0.
