Drew Buchanan posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He was dominant the last time he took on Royal Palm Beach back in March of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Buchanan is becoming a predictor of Benjamin's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 4-2 (and 9-10 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Buchanan and Benjamin will challenge St. John Paul II Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
