Toombs County entered their tilt with McIntosh County Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Buccaneers. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Toombs County easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16.

Toombs County's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for McIntosh County Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Coincidentally, Toombs County and McIntosh County Academy will both be playing Vidalia the next time they take the court. The Buccaneers will host the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
