Softball Recap: Pocono Mountain East Comes Up Short

Pocono Mountain East was the 6-3 winner over East Stroudsburg South when they last played one another on April 1st, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 8-7 on Tuesday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pocono Mountain East's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for East Stroudsburg South, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pocono Mountain East will head out to face off against Bangor at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Stroudsburg South, they will venture away from home to challenge Pleasant Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Cavaliers surely won't give up without a fight.
