Basketball Recap: Churchill Takes a Loss

Churchill lost against Dearborn back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Churchill Chargers took a blow against the Dearborn Pioneers, falling 85-45. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Pioneers are ranked 23rd).

Churchill has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Dearborn, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Churchill will take on Fordson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dearborn, they will challenge Belleville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
