Volleyball Recap: Pewamo-Westphalia Takes a Loss

Pewamo-Westphalia was the 2-0 winner over Lansing Catholic when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell 2-0 to the Cougars on Tuesday.

Pewamo-Westphalia has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 26-9-4 record this season. As for Lansing Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6-2 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Pewamo-Westphalia and Maple Valley will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lansing Catholic has already played their next contest (against Holt), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
