Soccer Game Preview: Chavez vs. Weston Ranch

The Chavez Titans will head out on the road to take on the Weston Ranch Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chavez will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Chavez's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on McNair with a sharp 7-0 win. Considering the Titans have won five matches by more than five goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Weston Ranch didn't have quite enough to beat Edison on Friday and fell 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by just one goal.

Chavez's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-2-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three contests. As for Weston Ranch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6-2.
