Baseball Recap: Granada Comes Up Short

Granada made up a huge gap compared to their last game against McClave, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bobcats fell just short of the Cardinals by a score of 9-7 on Tuesday. The Bobcats have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Alejandro Perez made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Edgurr Morales, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Granada's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for McClave, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Granada does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McClave, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Eads at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Cardinals' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
