Soccer Recap: ALA - West Foothills Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seton Catholic, ALA - West Foothills was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Northwest Christian Crusaders 2-1.

Kaimbrey Inman and Whitney Kobel scored both of ALA - West Foothills' goals, bringing their combined season tally to 54 goals.

ALA - West Foothills' win bumped their record up to 16-4-1. As for Northwest Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. ALA - West Foothills will host Tanque Verde at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th. ALA - West Foothills is on a three-game streak of home wins, Tanque Verde a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. As for Northwest Christian, they will welcome River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th. Northwest Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 6.2 goals per game this season.
