             Fort Bend Austin entered their tilt with Fort Bend Travis on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with eight. They skirted past the Fort Bend Travis Tigers  3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played  back in October of 2023.
 Fort Bend Austin took Fort Bend Travis into a fifth set  where they got it done with a six-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 16-25, 25-27,  15-9.
  Gabrielle Kennedy had a dynamite game for Fort Bend Austin,  getting 37  digs and four  aces. Kennedy is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had 20 or more in the last three games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Fort Bend Austin  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in five consecutive  games.
