Basketball Recap: Mountain Crest Falls Short of Snow Canyon in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mountain Crest can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Snow Canyon Warriors and fell 64-25. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Snow Canyon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Olivia Hamlin out in front who went 8-for-14 to rack up 19 points along with six steals and five rebounds. The game was Hamlin's 51st in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Joey Jensen, who went 5-for-11 en route to 13 points and six boards.

Mountain Crest's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Snow Canyon, the win keeps them at an undefeated 25-0.

Mountain Crest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Snow Canyon, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-33 victory against Sky View on the 21st.
