Basketball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry lost against Benedictine back in February of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Perry Panthers had to suffer through a 64-29 loss at the hands of the Benedictine Cadets. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

It was another big night for Caleb Jones, who went 6 of 10 en route to 19 points for Benedictine. The game was Jones' 39th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Micah Williams, who posted nine points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Perry's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Benedictine, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Perry will welcome Ware County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Benedictine, they will venture away from home to challenge Warner Robins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
