Baseball Recap: Marshall Takes a Loss

Marshall fell victim to Izard County and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 10-0. The Bobcats just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Marshall's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Izard County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Marshall is set to take on their familiar foe Tuckerman at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Izard County will challenge rival Mammoth Spring at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
