With a playoff win on the line, Palmview rose to the challenge on Monday. They came out on top against the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles by a score of 61-50. The win was nothing new for the Lobos as they're now sitting on 17 straight.

Palmview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nicole Flores, who went 8-for-16 to rack up 28 points. The contest was Flores' third in a row with at least 19 points. Mia Rojas was another key player, dropping a double-double with 18 points and 11 boards.

Palmview was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Savannah Rencher, who posted 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Amaris Alva, who put up seven points.

Palmview's record now sits at 27-7. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, they now have a losing record of 16-17.

Palmview has already played their next match, a 49-40 loss against Vela on the 14th. Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
