There's no place like home for Big Sandy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Sabine Pass Sharks with a sharp 13-7 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Wildcats' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Big Sandy let Ezekiel Angel and Kolten Glover run wild. Angel scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances, while Glover scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-5. That's the most runs Glover has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Daniel Barker, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Big Sandy's win bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Sabine Pass, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1.

Big Sandy will have a chance to go back-to-back against Sabine Pass: the pair will be back at it again later today.
