Empire saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zackary Breinlinger, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Pima and Benson finished up on equal footing with an 8-8 tie on Wednesday.

Empire dropped their record down to 5-9 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. Pima's draw gives them a new season record of 3-3-1.
