Recap: Saratoga Falcons vs. Pacific Grove Breakers
The Saratoga Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 59-48 to Pacific Grove.
Pacific Grove found their leader in underclassman Andrew Nimri, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Nimri, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds.
Saratoga's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pacific Grove, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saratoga will take on Westmont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Westmont is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak. As for Pacific Grove, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Monterey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Monterey presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Pacific Grove in California (Monterey is ranked 115th, while Pacific Grove is ranked 819th).
