There's no place like home for Blue Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They blew past the Pottsville Crimson Tide 12-2 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 12 matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Emmerson Frie was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Callie Peel, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.

Blue Mountain's record now sits at 12-5. As for Pottsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Looking ahead, Blue Mountain will face off against Hamburg at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2, the Hawks 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Pottsville, they will take on North Schuylkill at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
