Volleyball Recap: Doyle Takes a Loss

Doyle saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the South Lafourche Tarpons.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-11.

South Lafourche was led to victory by Addison Rodrigue and Caitlyn Loupe. Rodrigue had 21 assists and five digs, while Loupe hit 60.9% for 15 kills and 11 digs. That's the most kills Loupe has posted since back in September.

Doyle's defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for South Lafourche, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 21 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season.

Doyle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Landry on the 18th. As for South Lafourche, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Byrd on the 18th.
