After only 12 points in their last matchup, Harlandale made sure to put some points up on the board against Edison on Thursday. The Indians simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Golden Bears 61-0. The Indians have beaten the Golden Bears the last six times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Golden Bears has come to flipping the script.

Harlandale's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gabriel Salazar, who rushed for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 17 yards and one TD. Salazar's longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Another player making a difference was Unyces Cestou Garcia, who rushed for 87 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Harlandale was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 390 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Harlandale's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Edison, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
