Basketball Recap: Henryville Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Henryville waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 56-42 win over the Christian Academy Warriors. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Leah Stevens, who posted 11 points and seven rebounds. Carly Stevens was another key player, putting up eight points and four steals.

Henryville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 7-10 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Henryville will welcome Borden at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Hauser at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
