Soccer Recap: Rio Grande City Comes Up Short

The Rio Grande City Rattlers came up short against the Nixon Mustangs, falling 7-1. The Rattlers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-1.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rio Grande City fell to 2-1-1. As for Nixon, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 12-0-1.

Rio Grande City will head out on the road to square off against Roma at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nixon, they will be playing at home against Cigarroa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Nixon is facing Cigarroa at the right time seeing as Cigarroa is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
